The latest version of Polopoly web CMS was launched in the month of December, 2009. The 9.14 version includes widget plug-in framework and its main purpose is to keep a check on third-party website components. Atex sees that the new version “Polopoly as a Platform” initiative which is based on giving media companies more control and flexibility over how websites are built. With its use, framework software developers can create and exchange applications with fellow developers. Also, the addition of products from third-party vendors means that incorporation is about to take a huge leap from digital asset management to video streaming.
